# Events & RSVP

Events help your group organise who's playing and what happens on the day. This guide covers responding to events, following the squad and results, and voting for the MVP after a game.

## Finding your events

Events appear for the **groups you belong to**. If you're a member of a group with an upcoming event, you'll see it and can respond.

## Responding to an event

RSVP to let organizers know whether you'll be there:

- **In** — you're available.
- **Out** — you can't make it.
- **Maybe** — you're not sure yet.

You can also optionally **flag a condition** — for example, that you're injured — so organizers have the full picture when planning.

## The squad

Once RSVPs are in, organizers pick the **squad**. You may be selected as:

- **Playing** — part of the active lineup.
- **Reserve** — on standby.

## During and after a sport event

For sport events, you may see extra details:

- The **lineup** for the event.
- The **recorded result** once the game is finished.
- Your own **stats**, such as goals and assists.

## Voting for the game MVP

After a game, if you were **selected to play**, you can vote for the **MVP**:

- A **single pick**, or
- A weighted **3-2-1** ranking of your top choices.

You have **48 hours** from the event to cast your MVP vote, so don't leave it too long.

This per-game MVP is separate from the [Weekly MVP voting](/docs/member/weekly-mvp) you might do for your group.
