The planner turns capacity from a guessing game into a picture. Drag allocation bars across dates, set hours per day, and let Votare compute capacity against your organization's business hours, holidays, and timezone — so you catch slippage in week two, not at the end of the quarter.

## What you can do

### Allocate anything

Assign people to projects, hackathons, tickets (with client context), free-text labels like Ops, or presence such as WFH or client site. Repeat allocations as a series and order them your way.

### Real capacity math

Hours per day are measured against business hours, holidays, and timezone, so utilization reflects reality — not an idealized 40-hour week.

### Notifications & calendar sync

Members opt into a daily summary email and allocation-change alerts, and can subscribe to their allocations from any calendar app via an iCal link.

### Safe edits with history

Editing is scoped to creators, admins, and a resource-coordinator role; everyone else is view-only. Every change is captured in an append-only history with field-level diffs.
